Oberhausen Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) is situated at Willy-Brandt-Platz in Oberhausen. Streets near the train station include Poststrasse, Christian-Steger-Strasse, Danziger Strasse, Tannenbergstrasse, Buschhausener Strasse, Hansastrasse, and Coccordiastrasse.
Oberhausen Hbf is on the high speed rail line between North Rhine-Westphalia and the Netherlands (Cologne – Düsseldorf – Duisburg – Oberhausen – Arnhem – Utrecht – Amsterdam). High speed ICE trains go in about 2 hour intervals on this line.
